Mosaic Design
St Peter's Catholic Primary School has a beautiful mosaic inside of the school building.
We had the idea of designing a mosaic for outside as part of the celebrations for the school's
50th anniversary.
Mr Chris Gilbert, the Art and Soul Man, led an assembly to help generate ideas for the new mosaic.
Every child from Reception - Year 6 came up with fantastic design ideas.
Members of the Faith Council helped Mr Gilbert with the challenge of deciding on a final design.
All pupils and members of staff added tiles during the making of the mosaic as well as parent and governor representatives.
We worked so well together that two mosaics were made!
