School Uniform

School Uniform

This has been kept as simple as possible in the interest of economy.

WINTER

Royal blue sweatshirt with school crest.

Pale blue polo shirt.

Grey pleated skirt/pinafore dress/trousers.

Grey or white socks.

All black shoes (not trainers).

                     SUMMER

Royal blue sweatshirt with school crest.

                   Pale blue polo shirt/gingham dress.

                   Grey pleated skirt/pinafore dress/shorts/trousers.

                   Grey or white socks.

                   All black shoes.

Children should not wear trainers/boots or any other unsuitable type of shoe to school.  All shoes

must be flat and not in any sense “high-heeled”.

P.E. clothing and footwear is required according to age and season as follows:

  • School T-shirt and blue shorts.
  • Gym shoes/trainers/football boots.
  • Swimming costumes/trunks.
Classes might well go outside for P.E. at any time of the year.  This especially applies to Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.  Those years should always bring their usual indoor P.E. kit and suitable plain dark outer clothes. Most items may be obtained from many sources.  The crested sweatshirts, polo shirts and P.E. T-shirt and shorts are available from school.
All items should be clearly marked with your child’s name, otherwise they are virtually impossible to identify.
All outdoor games shoes, such as football boots should be kept in a separate bag.
For health and safety reasons earrings should not be worn in school.
If you wish your child to have their ears pierced, we would encourage this to happen at the beginning of the summer holidays to allow the holes to heal.  New studs need to be covered for up to six weeks.  After that the ears should have healed or medical attention needs to be sought.
Children should, in fact, wear no jewellery for school (rings, necklaces, bracelets etc.) nor should they wear nail varnish or visible tattoos. We request sensible haircuts and long hair needs to be tied back.
