In Reception this week we have been learning all about the Chinese New Year, the traditions, making lanterns, Chinese dragon dances, making dragon masks, playing in our Chinese restaurant etc.
We have been celebrating Children's Mental Health week at home and in school this week. It was tremendous to see the children expressing themselves through their clothes and hair style choices. Some photos can be seen on the gallery section of the website.
During this period of school closure, we have been reminded about the importance of mental health and the things we can do keep a positive frame of mind. Today is the Feast day of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The children in school participated in Mass at St. Peter's Church via the internet. Afterwards Father Peter treated us all to ice-creams.
