Thursday 30th March 2017 - Today the children performed a poem and song about road safety. Their singing was brilliant! Well done Year 3!
Friday 24th March 2017- This week Year 3 have had great fun carrying out lots of investigations as part of Science Week. We had a special visit from Mrs Harrison who taught us all about our digestive system! Thank you Mrs Harrison 😀

Friday 10th March 2017 - This week the children have been practising Greek dancing in their PE lesson.
Friday 3rd March 2017 - This week the children finished making their Medisa masks. I think you will agree they are a bit scary!
Thursday 27th February 2017 -This week the children had a visit from the 'Bookman', this was part of our World Book Day Celebration.
Thursday 16th February 2017 - This week the children have been learning about the Islam faith. They have learnt about the importance of the Qu'ran to the Muslim people and how it is a guide for how they live their lives.
Friday 10th February 2017 - Today the children have had great, they carefully made a Greek salad and hummus before haveing the opportunity to try lots of traditional Greek Food.
Friday 3rd February 2017 - This week we had a few small visitors in our classroom! They were very cute and the children looked after them with such care!
Friday 27th January 2017 - The children have created their own Ancient Greek inspired vase including either a Greek soldier or a naval ship. As you can see they are very creative! 😀
Friday 20th January 2017 - In RE this week the children have been learning all about the mass. On Thursday the children listened carefully about the importance of the readings in the mass. Following this they chose a reading and explained why it was important to them.
Wednesday 21st December 2016 - The children enjoyed Christmas party day today! We played lots of fun games and there were some groovy dance moves!
Thursday 15th December 2016 - This week the children have used speech marks and speech bubbles. In the pictures above the children have taken on the role of a character and have written a conversations in partners!
Monday 28th November 2016- The children have had a special visit from both a Stockport County player and coach this week thanks to Eve who won the SK solution healthy meal plan competition! The children learnt many new skills and thoroughly enjoyed their morning!
Wednesday 23rd November 2016 - Yesterday was a very busy day for year 3 as they also had a visit from 'Scoot Fit'. The children had great fun practising their skills, especially when going over the ramps!
Tuesday 22nd November 2016 - The children enjoyed a visit from Google Virutual Expeditions today. They have used the headsets to explore; The Great Barrier Reef, an operating theatre and The White House. It was very exciting!!😀
Friday 11th November 2016 - This week the children have been studying Judaism. Above is a selection of the work they have produced.
Friday 4th November - The children have been creating their very own Corroboree which is a traditional Aboriginal dance.
Friday 21st October 2016 - This week the children have been working extremely hard in maths to improve their recall of multiplication and division facts. They used arrays to help them with this activity.
Thursday 19th October - This term the children have been studying animals including humans in Science. As part of this study the children have worked in groups as personal trainers, studying the diet and exercise of their client. In the pictures below the children have created a balanced meal plate using materials - it was very messy but showcased their creativity and scientific knowledge perfectly! 😀
Friday 7th October - The children have been 'Eco Warriors' this week. They have had great fun using various materials in order to build our very own bug hotel otherwise known as 'Buggingham Palace'.
30th September 2016 - This week the children have been learning numbers1-10 in French, Spanish and Polish for European Day of Languagues.
Friday 23rd September - The children have been learning about the varied climates in Australia. They have drawn pictures of each climate.
Friday 16th September 2016 - This week the children have been practising their yoga moves in PE.
Dear God,
We would like to say thank you for our beautiful, loving and kind grandparents.
We thank them for all the special occasions they spend with us, the times they cook for us, the times they look after us and the times they make us laugh.
But most of all we want to say thank you for all their love!
Lord, we ask that you always look after our grandparents.
