Our School
A Brief History
When the school first opened its doors on 8th September, 1965, it was a considerable act of faith on the part of the parish community of St Peter's.
Within four years of opening the school was so over subscribed that two classes of pupils had to be transported daily to be taught at St Peter's Social Club.
Fr T. Osbyrne was the First Chairman of Governors and the Parish Priest who negotiated the founding of the school.
Mr E. Nestor was the first Head teacher.
We now have a number of parents and members of staff who attended the school when they were children.
