St Bernadette
Feast Day: 16th April
St Bernadette was a sickly child from a poor family. In Lourdes, Our Lady appeared 18 times to her as she grew up. Once she showed Bernadette a spring of special water which has cured many people who bathe in it. Mary also asked for a church to be built where people could come and pray to her. Bernadette became a nun and dedicated her life to God.
