SEND information
In line with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Code of Practice January 2015 the school supports children with Special Needs within the school. We adopt a whole school approach towards children deemed to have special needs, with all teachers sharing responsibility for these children and giving them the support they need, both inside and outside the classroom. If a child encounters difficulties, or is seen to be able or talented, a staged approach is followed where the teacher, the Special Educational Needs co-ordinator, parents and specialists from outside the school are all involved. For some pupils, referrals are made to the relevant therapy services, or professionals . Please see the documents and links below for more information
