Friday 6th November
This week, the children read the story of ‘The Scorpion and the Frog’ as part of their work on fables. Using the story as inspiration, the children thought about what is in their own nature. They wrote down their thoughts about themselves: what they think is good, what they think is not so good (which could only be ideas like ‘I worry too much’- nothing to do with what they look like or their personalities), and what they would like to do to get better. I was so impressed with how sensibly and maturely the children completed this activity.
