Friday 27th February

Super teamwork outside this week to create designs in the style of Sonia Delaunay using chalk and gratitude in our well-being lesson.

 

Friday 13th February

The final week of half term, so the end of many topics or projects, including our ARM coding project where the children made their Micro-pets. The children also created over-lapping circles using compasses or circular templates in Art.

Friday 6th February

Final music lesson of the topic this week which involved an orchestra and choir, playing and singing together for the whole duration of This Little Light of Mine. We also did some excellent coding using MakeCode.

 

Friday 30th January

The glockenspiels were out this week while we attempted to plan an accompaniment to ‘This little light of mine’ in unison. It was tricky, but we succeeded!

Friday 23rd January

The start of the ARM outreach project where the children will learn more about coding and the way computers work.

Friday 16th January

We had a wonderful class Celebration of the Word this week.

Friday 9th January

Super first week back with Epiphany, map symbol dominos and match the definitions.

Friday 19th December

Party day and a quite wonderful carol service (photos to be added after Christmas).

Friday 12th December

A lovely, class-based Advent themed Celebration of the Word this week. Followed by Christmas dinner day!

Friday 5th December

Interactive map based research on place names for our Geography topic. Some great map searching and name locating this week.

Friday 28th November

A wonderful visit to Hazel Grove Baptist church for the Christmas story trail this week.

Friday 14th November

Finding clues for our anti-bullying challenges and creating times tables games in Excel for Computing.

Saxon games and bug hunting in Science this week...

Friday 24th October

We celebrated the end of this first half term by sharing a lovely harvest assembly.

Friday 26th September

The children tasted a variety of vegetables mixed with tuna this week. They also completed each other’s word searches following last week’s homework.
